Suburban local honey - raw and unfiltered
My apiary is located in a suburban backyard in Concord, CA. The bees collect pollen and nectar from wildflowers other cultivated plants in the area to make the honey. I harvest my honey once per year in the fall, so it will include flowers from early spring (February) to Fall (October). The honey is a light amber color with a mild and sweet taste.
Honey is great for building immunity to seasonal allergies and enjoying on all sorts of foods. This honey is raw and unfiltered, meaning it has not been pasteurized and there will be some very fine bits of beeswax that float to the top of the jar.
